FRS Helgoline has serviced the connection with Germany’s only offshore island since 1984.
It is the only carrier offering a choice between a classic maritime vessel and a fast, modern highspeed catamaran. From May to September, tourists can travel daily on the classic tourist steamer "Atlantis" between Cuxhaven and car-free Heligoland, where it is tradition for small open boats ("Börteboote") to shuttle passengers from the anchoring site to dry land. The catamaran "Halunder Jet" connects Hamburg, Wedel and Cuxhaven with the island’s port every day between April and October. Heligoland offers guests spectacular nature and high quality tax-free goods.
FRS Helgoline is the market leader with 165,000 passengers
