Ab Sonntag, den 24. März gibt es wieder eine tägliche Katamaran Verbindung von drei Bundesländern aus nach Helgoland. Mit dem Crew-Transfer-Schiff „Windcat 101“ testete die Reederei FRS Helgoline seit dem 5. März eine zweimal tägliche Anbindung für die Insel Helgoland mit Cuxhaven, um Tagesgäste, Urlauber und Arbeiter komfortabel zu befördern. Durch den besonderen Service war es erstmalig möglich, die Insel morgens zu verlassen und am selben Tag, ohne Übernachtung, zurückzukehren. Planmäßig endete dieser Test nun am Freitag, 22. März. Vom 5. bis einschließlich 22. März wird die Insel Helgoland um eine zusätzliche Schiffsanbindung reicher. In dieser Zeit wird das 45 Personen fassende Crew-Transfer-Schiff „Windcat 101“ im Rahmen seiner zweimal täglichen Anbindung mit Cuxhaven Tagesgäste, Urlauber und Arbeiter von und nach Helgoland bringen. Zudem wird es erstmals auch möglich sein, die Insel per Schiff morgens zu verlassen und am selben Tag zur Insel zurückzukehren.

On 16. September this year Flensburger Förde Reederei Seetouristik (FRS) will begin operating the existing ferry service between Aarhus and Kalundborg in Denmark. Read more

The FRS Group successfully operates fast ferries between Spain and Morocco in the Strait of Gibraltar since year 2000. Recently cargo service has been added successfully to the existing activities.
This week the FRS Group has taken over two state of the art RoPax ferries from the Danish shipping company Mols Linien. The first of the two vessels will be prepared for its new service over the next couple of months in a yard.

The Flensburg company, FRS Offshore, and WindCat Workboats, from IJmuiden/Netherlands, are establishing a joint venture in the upcoming weeks, in order to offer joint workboats on the German offshore market in the future. In view of both companies’ extensive experience, a competent service provider is therefore positioning itself on the growing market for logistics services in the wind offshore sector.
