On 16. September this year FRS will begin operating the existing ferry service between Aarhus and Kalundborg in Denmark.

In the future FRS will offer three departures per port and further develop the market for the transportation of accompanied and unaccompanied cargo units. In addition, the line will be presented as an inexpensive alternative for passengers with and without cars and/or caravans and for busses. Together with the ports of Aarhus and Kalundborg, FRS has developed a solution in order to manage the traffic appropriately. Further, the ferry operator offers rapid loading and unloading as well as short lay times thanks to the existing facilities for loading on two levels in both ports using bow and stern ramps. Furthermore, the catering on board is being modernised and improved.
